How Does the Whitespace Remover Work?

The tool can process spaces in different ways. There are four main options.

• Remove all whitespaces: Removes all existing whitespace characters including spaces, tabs, and line breaks, so the text becomes one long line with no spaces.
• Remove all spaces: Removes all space characters but preserves tabs and line breaks, so the text becomes several lines of uninterrupted text and tabs.
• Remove extra whitespaces: Cuts multiple consecutive whitespace characters (including multiple spaces, tabs, and line breaks) down to a single space and trims the start and end of the text. It preserves word separation while removing unnecessary whitespace.
• Remove extra spaces: Cuts multiple consecutive spaces to a single space and trims the start and end of the text. It only affects space characters, leaving tabs and line breaks unchanged, and replaces excess spaces with a single space.
