What Is the Spelling Bee Solver?
The Spelling Bee Solver finds the words you can make from seven letters with one of them (the center letter) in every word. Use it for hints or a full list to score higher on the Spelling Bee puzzle from The New York Times and similar word games. Letters can be used more than once in each word.

Get Spelling Bee Hints
Enter the required letter in the Center letter box and six different Outer letters around it, then hit Solve. You can also paste all seven letters into any box, center letter first. Press Clear to start again.
The page starts with Show hints, with the words blurred. Click a word to reveal it, and click again to copy. Words are grouped by length and listed alphabetically within each group.
The summary and hints use our common-word list; Rare words are listed separately and don't count toward these totals. The game's own word list and total points can differ.

Hints show extra clues:
- Starting letters: The grid shows how many words start with each letter and their length. Look for gaps in your list and brainstorm from there.
- Starting letter pairs: The two-letter list shows starting combinations.
ST-5, for example, means five possible words start with ST.

Improve Your Spelling Bee Rank
Spelling Bee ranks are based on how many points you score out of the game's total points available. You'll need around 40% for Great, 50% for Amazing, and 70% for Genius. Use the official puzzle's total for these targets, since this solver's dictionary can differ.
To score higher faster, use the hints above and try extending your guesses with endings like
-ER, -OR, -ING, and -ED where letters allow.

Where Does the Word List Come From?
The Spelling Bee Solver uses the ENABLE word list, with commonness information from the English Speller Database and editorial curation, not exact Spelling Bee data. Results include US and British spellings, and not all words may be accepted by the puzzle.
